Construction Management

Oversight & Technical Expertise

A great design is only as successful as its execution. At GWB Architect, we leverage thirty years of hands-on construction knowledge to provide rigorous project oversight and budget management. By acting as your advocate from concept to completion, we bridge the gap between architectural intent and physical build, ensuring that complex details are handled correctly, professionally, and on schedule.

More About Our Process

"The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have, because when you're talking about building a house, you're talking about dreams."

- Robert A. M. Stern

Their suggestions and solutions were both elegant and cost effective. We are very excited about the completion of our renovation. I give George and his team a 100% recommendation and will work them again in the future.

The professionalism and courteous, friendly manner of George and his team at GWB is second to none. They had great skill and knowledge when designing and planning our home in such a way to meet every requested need for our growing family, while also taking time to get to know us and provide additional insightful suggestions and helpful guidance along the way. They were always available and absolutely responsive to any and all of our questions and concerns. Their attention to detail left little chance for any error or problems during the construction process. We highly recommend GWB for any project large and small and certainly would use them again in the future for any architectural needs.

The Architect

George W. Bella, Architect P.C.

George Bella, AIA, is a 30-year veteran of the architectural industry whose expertise is rooted in a deep, practical understanding of the building process. Having mastered the complexities of construction management through his family’s business, George brings a rare "builder’s eye" to every blueprint. From luxury residential estates to high-functioning commercial workspaces, his work is defined by an acute mastery of local zoning, coastal-resilient materials, and FEMA-compliant design.

As an active AIA member, Chamber of Commerce partner, and professional mentor, George remains a dedicated pillar of the Long Beach architectural community. Outside of his practice, George enjoys spending time on the South Shore—surfing, golfing, and playing hockey—as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends—reflecting his strong connection to the coastal community he has long served.
